1. AirPods must be placed in their charging case:

However, first, you may ensure that they are charged enough to sustain a connection and get paired with your hp laptop. The minimum battery percentage for connecting is 20%.

2. Open the case:

You may open the cover but do not touch the AirPods yet and leave them in their position as it is.

3. Thumb the setup button:
